Warehouse Stores Person
The Warehouse Stores Person at QCEL, an award-winning catering equipment specialist with over 30 years of industry experience, will be based at the company's head office in Worthing, West Sussex. QCEL offers high-quality, value-driven solutions to meet all food service requirements, enabling customers to provide the best quality food while maximizing efficiency and profitability.
In this role, the Warehouse Stores Person will be responsible for ordering spare parts from known suppliers and sourcing items from alternative suppliers when necessary. They will place orders on behalf of the Workshop, Manufacturing, and Service departments, receive orders from customers via phone and email, raise quotations and sales orders, and process completed sales orders for invoicing. Additional duties include taking payments from customers, maintaining appropriate stock levels, receiving goods, packing and distributing parts to engineers via courier, and assisting the Sales team with equipment ordering as needed.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate, methodical, and accurate in their work, with a 'Can Do' attitude. They should enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues, work well within a small team, and have previous experience in a similar role. Full training on the company software will be provided.
Compensation includes a uniform, automatic enrollment in the QCEL Work Place Pension Scheme, 25 days of paid holiday plus all Bank Holidays, and the opportunity to participate in weekend on-call cover with additional pay after full training.
