Warhead Project Engineer-Advanced Effects
Anduril Industries is seeking a Warhead Project Engineer to join their Energetics Team in Costa Mesa, California. This team is responsible for designing and testing complex munitions systems, transitioning them from prototype to production. The Warhead Project Engineer will manage the scope, schedule, and resources required to deliver multiple warhead designs, ensuring a smooth transition from prototype to production. Responsibilities include creating high-fidelity prototype parts for testing, overseeing arena and system-level testing of munitions products, and developing comprehensive test plans for development, integration, verification, and acceptance testing. The role also involves collaborating closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure systems are designed and built with speed to market and effectiveness in mind.
Candidates must possess a BS or higher degree in mechanical, aerospace, or another engineering discipline, along with 5-10 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and testing munitions or related systems. Demonstrated ability to manage complex subsystems, prepare engineering documentation, and design for manufacturing is essential. Excellent communication skills and the capability to craft project plans, manage budgets, and adhere to schedules are also required. The candidate must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
The salary range for this position is $146,000 to $194,000 USD annually, with highly competitive equity grants included in the compensation package.
