Wavemaker | Communication Manager
As a Communication Manager at Wavemaker, you will take full strategic and operational responsibility for managing a division of one of our key clients, encompassing multiple brands. This role involves building and maintaining strong partnerships with key client stakeholders, ensuring that our media strategies align with their business objectives. Wavemaker, a part of WPP Media, is dedicated to transforming how consumers make decisions and experience the world through media, content, and technology.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive 360° communication strategies with a strong digital focus, deeply rooted in the client's business realities. You will oversee the execution of these strategies, ensuring timely delivery across the entire media process—from briefing and planning to execution, analysis, and follow-up. Additionally, you will actively manage client relationships by setting expectations, providing constructive feedback, and proactively proposing innovative solutions.
To excel in this role, you should have several years of managerial experience, including team leadership and handling complex projects. A strong ability to combine strategic and media competencies, particularly in digital, with exceptional client service skills is essential. Proactive management of client expectations, initiating improvements, and proposing innovative solutions are key. Effective consensus-building and adept management of diverse perspectives are also crucial. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
