Account Director
As an Account Director at Via, you will serve as the primary liaison between Via and its partners, both internally and externally. Your role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with cities and transportation operators to enhance public transit systems. Via is a global leader in transportation technology, transforming traditional public transit into smart, data-driven networks.
In this position, you will manage a portfolio of complex, high-value partner relationships, acting as the main point of contact for executive city and agency leadership. Your responsibilities include translating partners' needs into revenue opportunities, driving decisions that shape service outcomes, and leading multi-year contract renewals and service expansions. You will also use service performance data to set strategic directions and champion new products and capabilities internally.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in client-facing roles, with a proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts at senior levels. Fluency in both French and English is required for frequent client interactions. Strong analytical skills, an entrepreneurial approach to relationship building, and the ability to navigate complex, politically sensitive situations are essential. Leadership qualities that inspire and elevate team performance are also crucial.
Compensation for this role includes a salary range of $160,000 to $200,000 CAD, with final salary determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills.
