Account Executive, CEW/VR Specialist
The Sales Specialist for Conducted Energy Weapons (CEW) and Virtual Reality (VR) Training at Axon is responsible for promoting and selling TASER and VR training products to municipal, provincial, and federal agencies across Canada. This role involves articulating life-saving solutions, building and maintaining senior-level relationships within government sectors, and addressing customer needs for training and implementation. The position is remote, with an expectation of approximately 50% travel.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing account strategies for key agencies and the Canadian distribution partner, initiating trials and evaluations, and supporting the Canadian TASER Advisory Board members. The specialist is tasked with building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, identifying key opportunities within public safety agencies and adjacent markets such as corrections. Additionally, the role requires a deep understanding of the Axon ecosystem to effectively articulate the value of products and services, increasing market awareness through collaboration with the Sales Director and Marketing team, and managing and overseeing proposal responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).
The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record in sales, particularly within the public safety sector, and demonstrate strong relationship-building skills with executive and operational leaders. Proficiency in CRM management, specifically is essential for maintaining accurate and timely records of opportunities, including opportunity value, close dates, and next steps. The ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners is also crucial for success in this role.
