Account Executive
The Account Executive role at Compass is a pivotal position within the Strategic Growth team, responsible for driving new revenue by attracting top-producing real estate agents to the company. This fully onsite role is based in one of Compass's Philadelphia offices, with significant time spent meeting clients and prospects in the field. Compass, founded in 2012, is revolutionizing the real estate industry with its end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to their clients.
Key responsibilities include effectively selling the Compass value proposition—which encompasses technology, marketing, culture, and growth—to top agents, persuading them to transition from their current brokerages. The role involves working directly with decision-makers, facilitating quick decisions without the complexities often associated with large corporations. The Account Executive is tasked with helping agents understand how their business and clients will benefit by moving to Compass.
The ideal candidate will possess a B.A. or B.S. degree with over five years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to exercise judgment and solve complex problems independently are essential. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively lead client meetings and presentations. The candidate should be highly organized, capable of multitasking, and able to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously. A proven track record of excellence across strategic, operational, and detail-oriented responsibilities is also necessary.
The base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 annually, with a potential bonus target of $30,000 to $60,000 and the possibility for additional performance-based incentives. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with a comprehensive range of benefits. Base pay is determined based on market location, and the minimum wage for the position will always be met.
