Account Executive, Corrections
Axon is seeking an Account Executive to join its Corrections Sales Team, focusing on transforming state correctional systems through innovative technology solutions. This role involves leading complex, enterprise-wide sales efforts to modernize operations within correctional facilities, aligning with Axon's mission to protect life and enhance public safety.
The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and executing multi-state territory strategies, building and maintaining executive-level relationships, and guiding agencies from legacy systems to integrated ecosystems that improve safety and accountability. Key responsibilities include leading multi-year sales cycles, identifying and closing high-value opportunities, and orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
Candidates should have over eight years of quota-carrying sales experience, with a proven track record in complex enterprise or public sector environments. Experience in managing multi-state territories, leading large sales cycles involving executive stakeholders, and closing high-value, multi-year deals is essential. Familiarity with public sector sales cycles, including navigating budget processes and RFPs, is advantageous.
