Axon is seeking an Account Executive to join its Corrections Sales Team, focusing on transforming state correctional systems through innovative technology solutions. This role involves leading complex, enterprise-wide sales efforts to modernize operations within correctional agencies, aligning with Axon's mission to protect life and enhance public safety.

The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and executing multi-state territory strategies, building and maintaining executive-level relationships, and guiding agencies from legacy systems to integrated ecosystems that improve safety and accountability. Key duties include leading multi-year sales cycles, identifying and closing high-value opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Candidates should have over eight years of quota-carrying sales experience in complex enterprise or public sector environments, with a proven track record of exceeding targets. Experience in managing multi-state territories, leading large sales cycles involving executive stakeholders, and selling complex, multi-product solutions is essential. Familiarity with public sector sales cycles, including navigating budget processes and RFPs, is advantageous.
