Account Executive - Direct & Channel Sales
As an Account Executive - Direct & Channel Sales at Canva, you will be instrumental in expanding our enterprise presence in Japan. This role involves engaging directly with enterprise clients and activating channel partners to drive growth. You will collaborate closely with global teams to tailor Canva's offerings to the Japanese market, ensuring alignment with local business practices and cultural expectations.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals. You will work in tandem with distributors and resellers to scale our reach, and partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align strategies with local market needs. Managing pipeline health and forecasting accuracy through CRM tools will be essential, as well as delivering exceptional customer experiences in collaboration with the Customer Success team.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales, consistently meeting quotas in fast-paced environments. Experience selling to large enterprise customers in Japan, particularly engaging senior stakeholders across marketing, design, IT, or digital transformation teams, is crucial. Fluency in Japanese, with professional proficiency in English, is required to effectively communicate with both local clients and global Canva stakeholders. A deep understanding of Japanese business culture and enterprise buying behaviors is essential, along with a strategic mindset to tailor Canva's value proposition to customer needs.
