Account Executive (ENT/Strategic) (Hybrid) (New York, New York)
The Account Executive (Enterprise/Strategic) position at KnowBe4 involves managing assigned enterprise customer accounts and maximizing all sales opportunities within those accounts. The role focuses on promoting and selling KnowBe4's products and services to large businesses with over 1,500 employees, aiming to achieve and exceed monthly sales quotas by targeting new business and reactivating lapsed customer accounts.
Key responsibilities include promoting and selling KnowBe4's range of products and services, identifying and closing new customers, building and maintaining a pipeline of potential customers by developing and managing relationships with prospects, forecasting new business prospects that result in successful client relationships and sales, identifying key decision makers while developing and qualifying new business opportunities within the targeted markets through cold calling, networking, and high-level prospecting, articulating the value proposition of KnowBe4's products and helping customers understand how it will improve their business's security awareness training and overall security, achieving or exceeding monthly quotas and/or targets, being well-versed in KnowBe4's product offerings and promoting the products and services at trade shows as requested, following up on marketing leads to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline, acting strategically in offering or negotiating discounted pricing in line with established policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate and thorough records for customer calls, emails, notes, tasks, demos, and other relevant information in compliance with the Administration Policy.
The position requires a proven track record in sales, with at least three years of experience selling software to small and medium enterprises. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT security field is essential. Experience with Salesforce and Gmail is required, and holding a Network or Security Plus certification is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a stats-driven business approach, motivation, energy, and strong collaborative and teamwork skills are also necessary. The ability to work with minimal supervision is expected.
Compensation for this role ranges from $200,000 to $210,000, including base salary, bonuses, and commissions.
