Account Executive, Justice (Mid Market)
As a Mid Market Account Executive on Axon's Justice team, you will manage and expand a designated territory of mid-sized City, County, and State judicial customers. This quota-carrying, external field sales role focuses on executing sales strategies, closing new and expansion opportunities, and delivering strong customer outcomes. Axon is dedicated to protecting life by addressing critical safety and justice issues through its ecosystem of devices and cloud software.
In this role, you will oversee the entire sales cycle for assigned accounts, from prospecting and discovery to closing and contract execution. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, conducting product demonstrations tailored to customer needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaboration with internal teams such as Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success is essential to advance deals and support account success.
The ideal candidate possesses over five years of successful, quota-carrying experience in customer-facing SaaS, cloud, or technology sales. Experience managing a full book of business within a defined territory and executing solution-based or consultative sales in moderately complex environments is required. Strong presentation and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, along with proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, are essential. Prior experience selling into state and local government or justice environments is preferred. The role requires the ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel, based on territory needs.
