Account Executive - Phoenix
inKind is seeking an Account Executive in Phoenix, Arizona, to drive sales by sourcing and closing restaurant partnerships. This role involves collaborating closely with onboarding and marketing teams to refine acquisition strategies. Candidates must reside in the Phoenix area and may be required to engage in up to three days per week of in-market activities, such as drop-ins and door knocking, based on business needs. Additionally, up to 25% travel outside the primary market may be required, with expenses covered in accordance with company policy.
The primary responsibilities include sourcing, qualifying, and closing new inKind restaurant partners to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas. Maintaining a consistent level of activity to keep a full pipeline, including reviewing old leads and lost opportunities for potential re-engagement, is essential. The Account Executive will act as a trusted partner and subject matter expert to prospects and customers, working closely with the Onboarding Team to ensure smooth launches for new restaurant partners. Collaboration with Marketing and demand generation teams is crucial to continuously refine the acquisition approach. Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential partners to secure future leads and referrals is also a key aspect of the role. Accurate tracking and updating of deals and communications in Salesforce in real time are required.
Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in a quota-exceeding sales role, preferably in Hospitality, FinTech, or SaaS. A hunter mentality with solid sales and business acumen is necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly are essential. An extensive customer network is preferred, along with experience using Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Preferred qualifications include over ten years of experience in a quota-exceeding sales role, experience working with restaurants or food-related entities/clients, and experience in a start-up environment.
Compensation includes a base salary of $100,000 with an uncapped on-target earnings (OTE) of $60,000. Benefits encompass generous paid time off (PTO) and company holiday policies, company-paid short-term disability, 100% employer-covered health and dental insurance for direct employees (with higher-tier healthcare coverage available at the employee’s additional cost; dependent coverage is at the employee’s cost), and a vision plan available at the employee’s additional cost. Childcare benefits and generous parental leave are also provided.
