Account Executive - Public Sector
Axon is seeking an Account Executive to join our team in Australia, focusing on selling our products and services to large and complex law enforcement and public safety agencies. This role is pivotal in advancing Axon's mission to protect life by providing innovative solutions that enhance public safety. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and maintaining senior-level relationships, articulating complex solutions, and leading the Axon team to success in significant sales opportunities.
In this position, you will manage and grow revenue and market share within designated agencies to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve Axon's strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include developing and executing account strategies, cultivating customer relationships, and ensuring effective service delivery. You will also be responsible for forecasting, tracking customer activity in internal systems, and providing product training as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software sales, particularly in SaaS or cloud solutions, and experience in relationship or consultative selling. Proficiency in data management using Salesforce or similar CRM systems, as well as an understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies, is essential. The role requires the ability to clearly and directly articulate complex solution offerings and collaborate effectively with various team members. Willingness to travel up to 70% is also required.
