Account Executive, Public Sector - Western Canada
As an Account Executive at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in assisting small to mid-sized public safety agencies across Western Canada in adopting technologies that enhance safety, reduce risks, and promote transparency. Axon is a leading provider of connected public safety solutions, including body-worn and in-car cameras, TASER devices, and cloud-based software platforms. This position reports to the Director of Sales, Canada, and offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in Canada, preferably in Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton, with travel expectations of approximately 50%.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive account strategies that align Axon's solutions with the mission-critical needs of public safety agencies. Your day-to-day activities will include managing long sales cycles, leading to high-value, multi-year agreements, facilitating discovery meetings, presenting Axon's value propositions, and leading customer negotiations. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to showcase Axon's innovative public safety technologies and ensure seamless customer experiences through proactive engagement and problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex, consultative sales environments, particularly in public safety, SaaS, or cloud-based solutions. A deep understanding of municipal procurement processes and public safety technology is essential, along with the ability to translate complex customer needs into innovative Axon solutions. Familiarity with cloud computing and SaaS solutions, as well as experience working with public safety IT leaders to drive digital transformation initiatives, is highly desirable. Strong collaborative leadership skills and experience working cross-functionally within an organization are also important. Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with key customers and stakeholders across Western Canada is required.
Axon offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary, bonus, and stock awards. The base pay range for this position is $123,750 to $198,000 CAD.
