Celonis is seeking an Account Executive to join its enterprise sales team, focusing on acquiring new clients within the retail sector. This role is pivotal in expanding Celonis' market presence by identifying and securing new business opportunities. The Account Executive will collaborate closely with Value Engineers, Business Development Representatives, and other cross-functional teams to drive strategic growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities include discovering and cultivating new business opportunities within a designated set of accounts, establishing and strengthening connections with executives and decision-makers, and comprehending the strategic and operational requirements of target accounts. The role involves guiding the sales journey through prospecting, qualification, client engagement, needs analysis, solution proposal, and closing deals. Additionally, the Account Executive will collaborate with Value Engineering to deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations, forge strong partnerships with consulting firms and SaaS partners, and work closely with a virtual team to ensure seamless collaboration and success.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales, particularly in roles focused on both expanding existing business opportunities and cultivating new ones. Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and a track record of selling enterprise-level software applications to C-level stakeholders are essential. Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of business processes and key performance indicators, especially in finance and supply chain, is required. Experience collaborating with partners, such as consulting firms or providers of enterprise technology solutions, is also important.
