As an Account Executive for Fixed License Plate Recognition (LPR) Cameras at Axon, you will serve as the subject matter expert, collaborating with Key Account Leaders to deliver integrated LPR solutions to law enforcement agencies nationwide. This role is pivotal in expanding Axon's reach, generating new revenue streams, and assisting agencies in addressing real-world challenges through advanced vehicle recognition and data-driven policing.

Your primary responsibilities will include driving sales of Axon's Fixed LPR cameras by identifying use cases, crafting tailored solutions, and closing deals in partnership with Key Account Leaders. You will act as the go-to resource for LPR product knowledge, implementation logistics, data workflows, and competitive differentiation. Additionally, you will support complex sales cycles by engaging decision-makers, responding to RFPs, and driving long-term strategic opportunities within large public safety agencies. Coordinating and delivering compelling product demonstrations, pilots, and customer education sessions to showcase the impact of Axon's LPR technology will also be key aspects of your role.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in public safety, SaaS, or smart infrastructure, with a proven track record of managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and exceeding quotas. A strong technical aptitude is essential, as you will need to explain camera systems, data integrations, and cloud software to both IT and non-technical users. Experience collaborating with Key Account Executives or sales teams on strategic accounts, a deep understanding of the public safety/government procurement landscape—including RFPs, budgets, and grants—and excellent communication and storytelling skills are also required. High integrity, mission alignment, and the ability to build trust with law enforcement customers are crucial. Willingness to travel 30–50% to customer sites, events, and demos is expected.

Axon offers a competitive salary and 401k with employer match, discretionary paid time off, paid parental leave for all, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans. Additional benefits include fitness programs, emotional and mental wellness support, learning and development programs, and office snacks. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.

Joining Axon means becoming part of a mission-driven company dedicated to protecting life through innovative technology solutions. The company fosters a fast-paced, challenging, and meaningful work environment where employees are encouraged to take ownership and drive real change. Axon is committed to building diverse teams that reflect the communities it serves, providing ample opportunities for growth and development.
