Accounts Payable Accountant
Echodyne is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Accountant to join our fast-growing team. This role will primarily support the Accounts Payable (A/P) function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. Echodyne offers the world's first compact solid-state true beam-steering radar for a wide range of industries and applications, serving sectors such as automotive, transportation, critical infrastructure protection, border security, smart cities, uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS), and airspace management including urban air mobility (UTM).
The Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices with accuracy and timeliness, matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to resolve discrepancies, reviewing and verifying vendor statements, responding to inquiries, and reconciling accounts. Additional duties include ensuring proper coding and approval of invoices and expenses, supporting other accounting tasks as assigned, assisting with year-end 1099 preparation and vendor reporting, and aiding in the implementation of automation tools and ERP enhancements.
Candidates should possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with at least one year of accounting experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team are essential.
The pay range for this position is $59,946 to $90,228 annually. This is an exempt role.
