Senior Product Manager – Data Platform
Echodyne Corp is seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Data Platform team in Kirkland, WA. This role focuses on managing the collection, management, and utilization of data to enhance operational effectiveness while adhering to security, privacy, and regulatory standards. The position involves collaboration across product, engineering, research, legal, and customer teams to balance high-quality data usage with the responsibility of safeguarding sensitive information, thereby building customer trust through disciplined data governance and transparent data handling practices.
Key responsibilities include defining and owning the roadmap and success metrics for the data platform that supports radar performance, analytics, and operational insights. The role requires translating business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritization decisions. Additionally, the Senior Product Manager will partner closely with engineering and data teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable data capabilities, define policies for data security, access, retention, usage, and deletion in alignment with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements, and serve as a trusted point of contact for data-related questions, concerns, and escalations.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of product management experience, focusing on data platform products, and demonstrated experience working with sensitive, regulated, or customer-controlled data. A strong understanding of data governance, data security, and privacy principles is essential, along with experience collaborating with government customers or operating in regulated industries. The role requires the ability to communicate complex data and security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, comfort navigating ambiguity and making thoughtful trade-offs, and a collaborative, detail-oriented, and customer-centric mindset.
The expected annual salary range for this exempt role is $137,196 to $205,382 USD.
