Echodyne Corp is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Technician for the day shift to join our fast-growing team in Kirkland, WA. This role is pivotal in ensuring that incoming parts and materials meet the company's stringent quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality inspection, a solid understanding of industry regulations, and proficiency in using precision measuring tools and techniques. This position plays a key role in maintaining supplier quality and compliance while improving internal processes. This role also assists in the management, assessment, disposition, and documentation of nonconforming material from Receiving Inspection. A clear and concise disposition of affected material is documented in Echodyne’s Product Lifecycle Management system.

Key responsibilities include applying inspection techniques using a variety of hand inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, ring gauges, and programmable test equipment like an OGP Smartscope. The technician will initiate, investigate, and resolve nonconformances, maintaining appropriate records as needed. Proficiency in IPC standards is essential, with a particular focus on PCB/PCBA inspections for solder, component, and board quality. Ensuring proper material identification, segregation, and storage of inventory material is also a critical aspect of the role. Collaboration with Manufacturing, Distribution, Engineering, and Quality teams is necessary to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.

The position requires experience programming multisensor measurement systems, particularly with OGP products, and working within a Quality Management System environment. Extensive experience with PCBs and PCBAs is necessary, along with the ability to assist with technical reviews with suppliers, Quality Engineers, and Design Engineers. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with individuals and groups. The ability to work with minimal guidance and under pressure is important, as is knowledge of specification development, industry standards, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Demonstrated ability to drive and deliver innovative, effective, and timely solutions is also required.

The hourly rate for this non-exempt role ranges from $33.27 to $49.87 USD.
