Agent Support Specialist
The Agent Support Specialist at First Connect Insurance Services plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional support to independent insurance agents and partners. Operating within a dynamic and rapidly growing insurtech platform, this position ensures agents have seamless access to over 130 top U.S. carriers, facilitating the sale of various insurance policies, including home, auto, and small business coverage.
Key responsibilities include responding to agent inquiries via calls, live chats, and emails, providing accurate information and timely resolutions. The specialist will review and process carrier appointment requests, ensuring compliance with carrier requirements, and maintain accurate records of communications and appointment activities in the HubSpot CRM. Collaboration with internal teams to address agent concerns and streamline processes is also essential.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a preference for those with insurtech experience. Knowledge of property and casualty insurance carriers, appetites, and processes is required. While an insurance license is preferred, it is not mandatory. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and Google Suite, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, are crucial.
The position offers a base salary range of $55,000 to $60,000, with exact compensation varying based on factors such as skill set, experience, and location.
