Senior Back end Engineer (Poland, Remote)
First Connect Insurance Services is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing and managing data processing systems that handle extensive datasets from over 130 insurance carriers. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with Product, Design, Business, and Finance departments to develop and maintain systems that are integral to our platform's functionality and the agency commission cycle.
In this position, your primary responsibilities will include architecting data pipelines to ensure high availability and reliability, developing robust logic to manage diverse data configurations, implementing monitoring systems to maintain data quality, optimizing our event-driven architecture for real-time data processing, and translating complex data requirements into scalable technical solutions.
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of six years of experience in backend systems and complex data processing. Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL is essential. A strong background in asynchronous system architecture and a keen eye for design patterns are also required. The ideal candidate will possess a startup mindset, demonstrating high ownership and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Applicants must be based in Poland and have the flexibility to overlap with US time zones.
The compensation for this role ranges from 26,000 PLN to 31,000 PLN net per month, plus VAT on a B2B contract.
