The Analyst, Portfolio Reporting Private Debt position at Audax Group involves providing comprehensive portfolio, operational, and financial reporting support to the Origination Debt investment, Investor Relations, and internal management teams. This role is integral to the Private Debt Portfolio Reporting Team, focusing on enhancing data capture and analysis processes to support the firm's investment activities.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing processes to improve operational efficiency and data quality, refining centralized databases, and advancing the team's data strategy. The analyst will also analyze investment performance, prepare reports for prospective and existing limited partners, and create automated solutions to streamline the preparation of investment updates and portfolio company write-ups. Additionally, the role involves calculating and analyzing gross and net portfolio returns, updating performance metrics for reporting, and preparing executive-level summaries and reporting packages.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with a CPA or CFA designation considered a plus. A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience is required. Proficiency in data warehouses, semantic modeling, business intelligence tools, PowerBI, Tabular Editor, Snowflake, SQL, or Python is advantageous. Advanced Excel skills and experience with portfolio monitoring software such as Dynamo, Anaplan, or Allvue are also beneficial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of process engineering and efficiency improvements, particularly within alternative investments and private debt.

The position is based in New York, NY, with an expectation of working in the office four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000, with potential eligibility for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
