Senior Associate, Finance Private Debt

The Senior Associate, Finance Private Debt position at Audax Group involves overseeing the accounting and reporting functions for Private Debt Origination. This role is based in the Boston office and requires collaboration with various teams, including Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, and Investor Relations, to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities include preparing quarterly and annual financial statements for multiple Private Debt funds, reviewing the work of fund administrators, and managing all accounting, reporting, and compliance aspects of assigned funds. The role also involves coordinating capital calls and distributions, assisting the Investor Relations team with fundraising materials and due diligence requests, and working closely with external auditors during year-end audits.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting and have 5-8 years of experience focused on partnerships and investments, preferably with public accounting experience related to private debt clients. Strong GAAP financial reporting skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential. A CPA or advanced certification is preferred, and experience with Investran is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $99,000 to $155,000, with potential eligibility for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
