Android Engineer

is seeking a dedicated Android Engineer to join our high-performance team. As a key member, you will collaborate closely with product managers and lead software engineers to design and implement Android solutions that enhance our Indodana platform, serving a vast user base. This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our fintech initiatives in Indonesia.

In this position, you will be responsible for executing projects of varying sizes, developing and refining mobile app features, and ensuring the delivery of clean, readable, and testable code within set timelines. Your day-to-day activities will include participating in code reviews, adhering to software engineering best practices, and collaborating with team members to continuously improve our Android applications.

The ideal candidate holds a formal degree in Computer Science or possesses equivalent demonstrable skills and experience. Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, along with a strong problem-solving aptitude, is essential. Experience in native Android development, particularly in building and publishing applications from scratch, is highly valued. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and development collaboration tools such as GitHub is required. A solid understanding of internet fundamentals, including HTTP, server-client interactions, and DNS, is also important.
