API Support Specialist
As an API Support Specialist at NinjaTrader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing our API integrations, ensuring seamless financial experiences for our expanding customer base. In this role, you will provide technical support to firms through remote assistance calls, addressing vendor inquiries and troubleshooting issues efficiently. You will act as a key contributor to the launch of new products and services, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and other departments. Maintaining active communication and support with API vendor development teams and retail API users via community forums will be essential. Additionally, you will take ownership of the cases you handle, following up with vendors to ensure inquiries are resolved completely.
The ideal candidate will have experience in API support or at least three years of software development. Demonstrated expertise with Java, JSON, or using third-party REST APIs is required. Experience with SQL, WebSockets, Java, C++,.NET, and other programming languages is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills, along with a passion for excellent documentation, are essential. Experience troubleshooting complex problems and working effectively across multiple teams is also important.
NinjaTrader offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 USD for this role, with an additional annual target bonus of 6%.
