Applied AI Value Engineer

The Applied AI Value Engineer at Celonis is a pivotal role focused on solving business-critical problems for strategic Japanese customers. The role is based in Bangalore, India, with a strong commitment to serving the Japan market.

Key responsibilities include understanding the specific AI strategies and challenges of Japanese customers, translating their requirements into innovative solutions aligned with local business practices, and rapidly building creative prototypes to address business-critical problems during customer hackathons. The role also involves enabling a shift from traditional automation to autonomous AI agents empowered by the Celonis PI Platform, executing end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects, and collaborating closely with Japan-based account teams to ensure project outcomes meet agreed value and adoption thresholds.

The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, defining AI roadmaps, and building ROI/TCO business cases. A deep understanding of Generative AI techniques, proficiency in Python, and knowledge of business processes in areas such as Supply Chain and Finance are essential. Strong presentation skills and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics are required, with a Master's degree preferred.
