Assistant Store Manager
The Assistant Store Manager at PLS plays a pivotal role in ensuring the store delivers exceptional customer service and meets its operational and financial objectives. PLS, a leading retail provider of financial services, operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient financial products to help customers manage their daily financial needs.
In this role, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for maintaining exemplary customer service within the store, building strong relationships with customers, and establishing a customer-centric culture. Key responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals, recruiting and developing team members, ensuring compliance with regulations, analyzing financial statements to maximize sales, marketing within the community, resolving customer complaints, and managing schedules, cash, and store audits.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants. Essential skills include the ability to engage with customers confidently, develop positive customer relationships, a strong desire to exceed company initiatives, excellent communication and presentation skills, high-energy collaborative management experience, and a professional appearance and demeanor. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. English fluency is mandatory, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
