The HRIS Specialist at PLS will work in a projectized environment, assisting with training, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems to ensure data integrity, streamline HR processes, and support strategic decision-making. The HR systems include, but are not limited to, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) UKG/Ultipro, the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Greenhouse, and the Learning Management System (LMS) Cornerstone. The HRIS Specialist will actively identify and resolve issues or opportunities for process improvement, automation, enhanced user experience, and other HRIS integrations. This role reports to the Manager of HRIS.

Key responsibilities include managing daily operations of the HRIS system, such as user access, reporting, maintenance, and system configuration. The specialist will audit employee data to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Additionally, they will create, maintain, and produce reports with varying degrees of complexity for HR metrics and compliance requirements. The role also involves leading or supporting system upgrades, testing new functionalities, and managing multiple cross-functional project activities. Acting as a key point of contact for HRIS systems, the specialist will emphasize vendor management, troubleshooting, and training employees. Collaboration with cross-functional teams on system issues, enhancements, and queries is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in HR, IT, or a related field, with 5 to 10 years of experience in Human Resources, HRIS, or IT, specifically working with HRIS systems. Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms and related report writing, particularly UKG, is highly preferred. Advanced Excel skills are desired, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, diligence, and a high level of accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for working with project teams, clients, and vendors.
