Assistant Store Manager
PLS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at 8010 E. Washington St, Indianapolis, IN. As a leading retail provider of financial services, PLS operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient and transparent financial products to help customers manage their day-to-day needs. The Assistant Store Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the store delivers outstanding customer service and meets its operational and financial objectives.
In this role, the Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including supervising Customer Service Representatives, maintaining exemplary customer service, and building strong relationships with customers. Responsibilities encompass implementing strategies to achieve store goals, recruiting and developing team members, ensuring compliance with regulations, analyzing financial statements to maximize sales, and marketing within the community to increase market share. Additionally, the Assistant Store Manager will handle customer complaints, manage schedules, oversee cash handling procedures, and maintain a clean store environment.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, the ability to develop positive relationships, a desire to exceed company initiatives, and excellent communication and presentation abilities. A high-energy, collaborative management style, professional appearance, integrity, and flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are essential. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
