Assistant Store Manager
PLS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the Forest Hill, TX location. As a leading retail provider of financial services, PLS operates over 200 financial service centers across 12 states, offering convenient and transparent financial products to help customers manage their daily financial needs. The Assistant Store Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the store delivers outstanding customer service and meets its operational and financial objectives.
In this role, the Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for maintaining exemplary customer service within the store, building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business, and establishing a robust customer service culture. Key responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals, recruiting and developing team members, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and analyzing financial statements to maximize sales. Additionally, the Assistant Store Manager will perform duties of a Customer Service Representative, supervise CSR activities in the absence of the Store Manager, and manage schedules, cash, and store audits.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant. Candidates should possess the ability and confidence to engage with customers, develop positive relationships, and inspire excellence in a team. Strong communication and presentation skills, a high-energy and collaborative management style, and a professional appearance and demeanor are essential. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. English fluency is mandatory, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
