Assistant Store Manager
The Assistant Store Manager at PLS plays a pivotal role in ensuring the store delivers outstanding customer service and meets its operational and financial objectives. Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and fostering a customer-centric culture within the store. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in implementing strategies to achieve store goals, recruiting and developing team members, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing daily operations such as transaction processing and cash handling. Additional duties involve analyzing financial statements to maximize sales, marketing within the community to increase market share, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries like hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants. Essential skills include the ability to engage with customers confidently, develop positive customer relationships, and inspire excellence within the team. Strong communication and presentation skills, a high-energy and collaborative management style, professional appearance and demeanor, honesty, integrity, and flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are also required. English fluency is mandatory, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
