Assistant Store Manager
The Assistant Store Manager at PLS plays a pivotal role in ensuring the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets operational objectives, and adheres to company policies. This position involves assisting the Store Manager in daily operations and, in their absence, directing the activities of all team members. Key responsibilities include maintaining exemplary customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and fostering a customer-centric culture within the store. The Assistant Store Manager assists in implementing strategies to achieve store goals, recruits and develops team members, ensures compliance with regulations, and performs duties such as transaction processing and cash handling. Additional tasks involve analyzing financial statements to maximize sales, marketing within the community, resolving customer complaints, managing schedules, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of management experience in industries like hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurants. The role requires strong customer engagement skills, the ability to develop positive relationships, a desire to exceed company initiatives, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a professional appearance. Flexibility to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential. English fluency is required, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
