Associate Creative Director
Chime is seeking an Associate Creative Director to lead the development of scalable messaging and creative systems that power product launches. This senior individual contributor role is responsible for translating product strategy into clear, modular, and repeatable creative infrastructure. The position leans copy-first but requires fluency in visual systems, defining how Chime products are positioned, explained, and expressed across various channels.
Key responsibilities include leading the development of scalable product messaging systems, such as positioning frameworks, modular copy architecture, voice and tone guidance, and channel adaptations. The role involves translating complex product strategies into clear, structured messaging that flexes across audiences and funnel stages. Collaboration with design leads is essential to ensure messaging systems integrate seamlessly into visual and design frameworks. Additionally, the Associate Creative Director will establish and document creative standards and guardrails to maintain consistency without sacrificing flexibility.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of creative experience with deep expertise in copywriting and creative direction. Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to structured systems is essential. Demonstrated ability to build and scale messaging or design systems used by multiple teams is required. Strong editorial judgment, clarity of thought, and fluency in visual systems are necessary. Experience shaping or implementing AI-assisted creative workflows and the ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority are also important. A high degree of ownership, autonomy, and systems thinking is expected.
The base salary for this role ranges from $145,000 to $200,000, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits.
