Beacon Software is seeking an Associate to join our Integration team, focusing on the seamless onboarding and integration of newly acquired businesses into our expanding portfolio. This role is pivotal in managing the processes before and after new partnerships, ensuring effective collaboration between our headquarters and new founders, and developing scalable systems to enhance integration efficiency.

The Associate will oversee project tracking across various functional workstreams for multiple newly acquired businesses during onboarding and integration. They will serve as the primary point of contact for incoming CEOs, managing relationships from pre-close through integration, and building trust to foster successful, long-term partnerships. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Product, Investment, Finance, and Operations—to resolve blockers, share context, and ensure adherence to integration timelines. The Associate will also support deal teams in presenting Beacon’s integration approach to prospective acquisitions and represent the integration function in cross-functional forums.

Candidates should possess 2 to 4 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, M&A integration, management consulting, and/or business operations. They must demonstrate the ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from start to finish. Familiarity with the M&A process and a genuine curiosity about how businesses are acquired, integrated, and scaled are essential. Strong founder empathy and effective communication skills with both executives and junior team members are also required.
