Associate, Integration
Beacon Software is seeking an Associate to join our Onboarding & Integration team, responsible for seamlessly integrating newly acquired businesses into our portfolio. This pivotal role involves managing the onboarding process, fostering relationships with new founders, and developing scalable systems to enhance integration efficiency. The Associate will work closely with Engineering, Product, Investment, Finance, and Operations teams, providing a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into the acquisition and scaling of software businesses.
Key responsibilities include overseeing project tracking across various functional workstreams during onboarding and integration, serving as the primary liaison for incoming CEOs, and ensuring smooth communication and trust-building throughout the integration process. The role also entails facilitating cross-functional collaboration, resolving potential blockers, and holding stakeholders accountable to integration timelines. Additionally, the Associate will support deal teams by presenting Beacon's integration strategies to prospective acquisitions and contribute to the development of automation tools and AI-enabled workflows to streamline integration processes.
The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 4 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, M&A integration, management consulting, or business operations. A demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to completion is essential. Familiarity with the M&A process, strong communication skills, and comfort with AI tools and automation platforms are also required. The candidate should be a self-starter who thrives in high-autonomy environments and can effectively articulate the relevance of software in today's market.
