Associate, Private Debt
The Associate, Private Debt position at Audax Group involves working within a highly skilled team to evaluate and screen new investment opportunities, conduct industry and business due diligence, create or review financial models, and assess alternative deal structures. The role encompasses managing all aspects of transactions from inception to completion, including monitoring portfolio companies. Associates will interact with executive management teams for new investment opportunities as well as existing portfolio companies, participating in all elements of deal review and the investment committee process, with significant interaction with senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include evaluating and screening new investment opportunities, conducting industry and business due diligence, creating or reviewing financial models, assessing alternative deal structures, and monitoring portfolio companies. Associates will also participate in all elements of deal review and the investment committee process, interacting with executive management teams and senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in investment banking or direct lending, a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a team environment, high motivation with demonstrated leadership potential, and top-tier academic performance.
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, with potential eligibility for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
