Associate, Private Debt Leverage & Portfolio Strategy

Audax Group is seeking an Associate for its Private Debt Leverage & Portfolio Strategy team in New York, NY. This role focuses on managing leverage facilities supporting existing and new funds, as well as optimizing portfolio efficiency and returns. The position offers an opportunity to join a cohesive and experienced team within a well-established firm.

Key responsibilities include negotiating terms on new and existing leverage facilities, maintaining relationships with lending institutions, modeling portfolio and return impacts from changes in leverage facility terms, constructing loan portfolios for new CLOs, analyzing existing senior loan portfolios to identify secondary market opportunities, and monitoring compliance tests within all leverage facilities.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have 2-4 years of experience in structured credit, balance sheet lending, fund finance, or similar fields. Experience in managing a portfolio of leverage facilities, the ability to generate detailed reports and track private debt portfolio activities, and proficiency in developing and utilizing complex financial models are essential.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000, with potential eligibility for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
