In this role, the engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable and horizontally scalable distributed systems. Key responsibilities include developing full-stack solutions from ideation to deployment, collaborating closely with the team to incorporate cutting-edge AI advancements into robust, user-centric solutions. The engineer will also engage in an iterative development process, working directly with customers to gather feedback, refine features, and evolve products to address real-world challenges.
Candidates must possess expert knowledge of either Rust or C++, along with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable distributed systems. A solid understanding of service observability and reliability best practices is essential, as is experience operating databases such as PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, and CockroachDB. Additional qualifications that will distinguish a candidate include expertise in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, TypeScript, and gRPC, as well as hands-on experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, or RAG patterns, and a proven track record of delivering user-facing software at scale.
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $180,000 to $440,000 USD.
