As a Bookkeeping Specialist on the Human Data Team at xAI, you will play a pivotal role in creating advanced datasets to train and benchmark AI models. Collaborating closely with technical staff, your primary focus will be on labeling and annotating data across text, voice, and video formats, particularly in practical bookkeeping scenarios for small to mid-sized businesses. Your key responsibilities will include utilizing proprietary software to provide input and labels on defined projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality curated data. You will work on real-world bookkeeping problems, offering accurate solutions, detailed annotations, and model critiques. Tasks may involve recording daily transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, handling basic payroll, and preparing financial reports, primarily using QuickBooks. Comfort with audio and video formats is essential, as some tasks may require capturing or providing data through these mediums.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of practical bookkeeping experience, with hands-on involvement in day-to-day financial records. Proficiency in QuickBooks is required, including capabilities in bank reconciliations, invoice processing, expense tracking, and basic financial statement preparation. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills are crucial for handling financial data. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with proficiency in both informal and professional English reading and writing.
Compensation for U.S.-based candidates ranges from $35 to $65 per hour, depending on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications.
