Building Services Manager

As a Building Services Manager at AirTrunk, you will be an integral part of the Operations team, reporting directly to the Operations Director. AirTrunk is a leading technology company specializing in hyperscale data centers across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. This role is based at our data center in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing physical security operations on-site, managing a 24x7x365 outsourced security personnel team, and leading all aspects of building operations and soft services such as cleaning, gardening, and grounds maintenance. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with technical and facilities teams to address all property-related matters, ensuring seamless operations and maintenance of the facility.

To excel in this role, you should have over five years of experience in facilities, property, or building operations, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin or Tamil is advantageous. Experience in managing third-party service providers, budget management, supervising and mentoring junior staff, and developing or implementing processes is essential. Familiarity with local regulations and standards, as well as general knowledge in repair, maintenance, health, and safety, will be beneficial.
