Senior Technical Services Manager

The Senior Technical Services Manager at AirTrunk is responsible for overseeing critical environment maintenance planning activities at the Johor Bahru data centre. This role involves leading, mentoring, and training a team of Technical Services Managers, as well as managing contracts with site facilities providers to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance activities. Additionally, the position requires close collaboration with the Building Services Manager on property-related matters.

Key responsibilities include managing the site to achieve 100% uptime and compliance with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and safety standards. The role involves planning and coordinating all preventive maintenance and repair works, ensuring adherence to change management and incident management procedures, and coordinating activities with customers as needed. The Senior Technical Services Manager will also work with the development team to oversee construction activities and installations, ensuring that system design, installation, and testing meet operational standards.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of mechanical and electrical experience in data centres, facilities, engineering operations, semiconductor industries, trades, or related fields. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, with Mandarin being a plus. A background or degree in electrical or mechanical trades is preferred, along with a solid understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power and cooling systems, fire, and security systems. Knowledge of local statutory regulations and requirements is essential.
