The Business Development Manager - Employee Benefit role at involves generating new business by actively contacting prospects, scheduling appointments, making sales presentations, and closing new Employee Benefit accounts, while also maintaining existing business. Building client-oriented value, managing client complaints, solving problems that may arise, and engaging in discussions with internal and external teams are essential responsibilities. Monitoring after-sales and servicing all accounts, both internal and external, is also part of the role. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Employee Benefit or equivalent roles in insurance companies or brokers, with additional insurance education or designation preferred. Experience in seeking new business and maintaining employee benefit insurance for large companies is required. A deep knowledge of Employee Benefit products, especially Health Insurance Policies, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preparing presentations is necessary, along with being highly organized and working well in a team environment.
