Business Development & Partnerships Lead
The Business Development & Partnerships Lead at Axon is a pivotal role focused on driving sales through framework contracts with Global/System Integrators to accelerate Axon's international growth. This position involves close collaboration with the Partnerships team and GSI business, managing the entire progression of SI-led framework opportunities from initial shaping and positioning through quoting, contracting, and internal coordination. The role is integral to building strong, trusted relationships with customers, integrators, and Axon stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution and an excellent partner/customer experience that translates into repeatable revenue and expanded market presence.
Key responsibilities include leading and closing SI framework contract opportunities across priority international markets to achieve strong commercial outcomes. The role requires program-managing SI-led deals by aligning internal teams—such as product, legal, finance, operations, and delivery—to accelerate contracting and execution. Additionally, the position involves developing and expanding SI relationships, strengthening joint account plans, governance, and long-term pipeline creation. Enabling system integrators and distributors to scale Axon adoption through cross-sell, upsell, and full-suite solution positioning is also a critical aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sales strategy, sales operations, or partner-led enterprise sales execution, preferably within enterprise technology, SaaS, public sector, or mission-critical solutions. A strong working knowledge of Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) and deal hygiene best practices is essential. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across partners and internal teams are required, along with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams in a fast-paced global environment. Proven experience supporting or co-owning complex sales cycles, including quoting and contracting workflows, is also necessary. Cross-functional fluency with legal, finance, delivery/operations, and sales, as well as being a self-starter who is detail-oriented, structured, and results-driven, are key qualifications. Prior experience working with system integrators is highly desirable.
