The Business Development Representative (Strategic Growth Partner) at Compass plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's market presence by generating new business opportunities. This position is integral to the Strategic Growth team, which serves as the company's front line in market expansion efforts. The role is based fully on-site in Compass's Boston, MA office.

Key responsibilities include building the sales pipeline through both inbound and outbound efforts, such as cold-calling, texting, emailing, and executing integrated marketing and LinkedIn campaigns. The representative will articulate Compass's value proposition, handle objections to create qualified opportunities, and collaborate closely with Strategic Growth Managers and Team Leaders to develop effective prospecting strategies. Maintaining accurate records within the CRM and engaging actively with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications are also essential duties.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have at least two years of relevant experience with a strong performance history in roles such as Sales Development Representative, Customer Success/Service, Direct Sales, or Account Management. Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to solve complex problems independently are crucial. Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities to manage multiple deadlines, and a proven track record of excellence across strategic and operational responsibilities are also required.

The base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with potential bonuses and restricted stock units as part of the compensation package.
