As a Business Expert in Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics at xAI, you will join the Human Data Team to develop advanced datasets that enhance Grok's capabilities. Collaborating closely with technical staff, your role involves labeling and annotating diverse data formats to support the training of sophisticated AI systems. This position demands adaptability, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to follow evolving instructions to produce impactful data.
Your primary responsibilities include addressing real-world supply chain, procurement, and logistics challenges by providing accurate solutions, detailed annotations, and model critiques. Tasks may involve strategic sourcing decisions, inventory optimization, logistics network design, supplier risk assessments, and trade compliance scenarios. Additionally, you will utilize proprietary software to input and label data accurately, collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation tools, and interpret and execute tasks based on evolving instructions.
Candidates should possess over five years of practical experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, with hands-on roles in sourcing, inventory, or distribution management. Proficiency in procurement and supply chain systems such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder, along with advanced Excel skills for cost modeling, is essential. Strong judgment in evaluating supplier negotiations, risk scenarios, and logistics trade-offs, as well as excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, are required. A passion for technological advancements and innovation in business is also highly valued.
Compensation for U.S.-based candidates ranges from $45 to $100 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications.
