Business Solutions Architect: Finance Systems
Axon is seeking a Business Solutions Architect to lead the management and enhancement of its Finance Systems portfolio. This role is integral to the Business Solutions team, focusing on critical finance platforms that support financial close, consolidation, revenue recognition, compliance, and reporting. The position is based in Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work schedule emphasizing in-person collaboration from Tuesday through Friday.
The Business Solutions Architect will act as the product manager and delivery lead for Axon's Finance Systems, overseeing platforms related to consolidation, revenue, close management, and reporting. Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end implementation of the Finance & Accounting Consolidation platform, managing the RevStream upgrade, translating complex financial requirements into clear product plans, and driving cross-functional execution across various departments. The role also involves establishing governance for finance system changes and identifying opportunities to automate and improve finance operations.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, along with over eight years of experience in finance systems or business systems product management. A deep understanding of financial processes such as close, consolidation, revenue recognition, and statutory reporting is essential. Experience with platforms like OneStream, Oracle EPM, Workiva, BlackLine, or RevStream is required. Strong product management skills, technical fluency with ERPs and analytics platforms, and the ability to operate autonomously on high-impact initiatives are also necessary.
