Echodyne is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced radar systems that integrate the company's innovative MESA technology with complex hardware and software subsystems. This role involves defining the technical vision for next-generation radar products and collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team to translate product requirements into robust system architectures. The Chief Engineer will guide concurrent development efforts, ensuring seamless integration and exceptional performance across all subsystems.

Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and sustainment of advanced radar systems, defining system and subsystem requirements, and driving the technical vision for Echodyne's radar products. The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing technical and programmatic risks, as well as providing technical mentorship and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within the engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team developing hybrid products and systems comprised of hardware and software components, such as electrical printed circuit board assemblies, mechanical components, custom and off-the-shelf digital and mixed signal integrated circuits, embedded firmware, and middleware. A demonstrated leadership in system architecture definition and decomposition, experience with Design for Excellence methodologies, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential. A Master's degree or higher in Engineering and seven or more years of experience in engineering electronic products are required.

Echodyne offers a competitive compensation package, with an expected annual salary range of $197,451 to $296,228.
