Axon is seeking a Collaboration Engineer to oversee and enhance the company's conferencing and collaboration systems. This role is integral to supporting Axon's mission to Protect Life by ensuring seamless communication across its global hybrid workforce. The position is based onsite at Axon's Boston, MA office and reports to the IT Director of Client Engineering.

The Collaboration Engineer will be responsible for managing all conferencing and collaboration systems, including physical conference rooms and broadcast AV systems. Key duties involve setting and maintaining global standards for collaboration spaces, leading production for internal broadcast events and webinars, upgrading and maintaining Pro AV systems, and managing integrations across tools such as Zoom, Slack, Teams, and various SaaS platforms. Additionally, the role includes identifying new hardware and software tools to keep Axon at the forefront of collaboration capabilities, providing high-level support for executives and high-profile events, and serving as the escalation point for IT Support on collaboration systems.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as a Client Engineer or Pro AV technician. Essential qualifications include experience with the design and setup of Pro AV equipment, proficiency in running AV production for live and virtual events, a proven track record as a thought leader in the collaboration space, and a solid understanding of core IT systems such as networks, Azure Active Directory, and Okta. Familiarity with ITIL principles and change control processes is also required. A passion for new technology, hands-on building, and the ability to work onsite in Boston are essential.

Axon offers a competitive salary ranging from $94,590 to $151,344 USD, along with a 401k plan with employer match.
