Commercial Account Executive (Germany - Zip Codes 4 & 5)
Commvault, a leader in cyber resilience, is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive sales within Germany's postal codes 4 and 5. This field-based role focuses on acquiring new business and managing existing client relationships, either directly or through partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling complex software solutions and a deep understanding of the local market.
In this role, the Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, generating new business opportunities, and achieving revenue quotas on a quarterly and annual basis. The position requires maintaining a high level of face-to-face meetings with customers, prospects, and partners, developing territory plans, and building strategic partner relationships. Additionally, the role involves preparing and presenting sales proposals, negotiating and closing deals, and leveraging internal sales tools to drive opportunities to a successful close.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of five years of proven success in software sales, particularly within the data protection and security industry. Experience in identifying, building relationships, and selling with channel partners is essential. Strong communication skills, a background in IT infrastructure, and fluency in both German and English are required. Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC or Command of the Message is advantageous.
