Commercial Account Executive - Seattle
The Commercial Account Executive at Commvault is a field sales role responsible for driving revenue growth within a designated territory in the Seattle area. This position involves engaging directly with both existing customers and potential clients, either independently or through partnerships, to deliver Commvault's data protection and information management solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of the client's environment and challenges to effectively align Commvault's offerings with their needs.
Key responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, developing and executing territory plans, and maintaining regular face-to-face interactions with customers, prospects, and partners. The Account Executive is also tasked with building strategic relationships with local partners, preparing and presenting sales proposals, negotiating and closing deals, and ensuring compliance with all legal and financial requirements. Additionally, the role involves leveraging internal sales tools and processes to drive opportunities to a successful close and coordinating executive briefings.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of five years of proven success in software sales, with at least two years of experience in identifying, building relationships, and selling with channel partners. A strong understanding of the storage management industry, including products, competitors, and emerging trends, is essential. Excellent communication, persuasive, and listening skills are required, along with a background in IT infrastructure.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $93,500 to $182,850 per year, with additional performance-based earning opportunities.
